Amy Poehler to guest star on 30 Rock?

Monday, September 21st, 2009

In an interview with Extra, 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin spilled that he would love to get Meryl Streep, Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake and Amy Poehler on the show.

Here’s what he had to say about Amy:

I’d still love to get Amy Poehler on the show. I don’t know how she’s gotten out of my clutches this far.

Here’s a video featuring Alec, Tina Fey and Justin:

What goes on in a comedy show writers room?

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

Take a peek inside what happens in the writers rooms of some of television’s top comedy programs, courtesy of an article in the L.A. Times.

Reporter Randee Dawn doesn’t speak to any Parks and Recreation people, but does interview Paul Lieberstein from The Office, as well as 30 Rock’s Tina Fey and Two and a Half Men’s Chuck Lorre.

On the way: Office greeting cards

Sunday, May 31st, 2009

Parks and Recreation will always be Knope Knows’ focus. However, from time to time I’ll slip in some noteworthy Office news.

NBC Universal signed a licensing deal with Hallmark, which includes the use of the media company’s film and TV content like The Office, 30 Rock and Battlestar Galactica.

The article doesn’t specifically mention Parks and Recreation, though the show is a production of NBC Universal and is likely a part of the deal.
