The 61st Primetime Emmy Awards air tonight on CBS at 8/7c. Neil Patrick Harris hosts.

Parks and Recreation isn’t nominated for any awards, but both Amy Poehler and Kristen Wiig are vying for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for their work on Saturday Night Live.

July 16, 2009:
Parks and Recreation received no Emmy nominations early this morning. It’s OK though. They’ll get ‘em next year!

On the plus side, Amy Poehler earned a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series for her work on Saturday Night Live. This is the second year in a row she has been nominated for the award.

Emmy nominations will be announced tomorrow! Best of luck to Amy, Aziz, Aubrey, Rashida, Nick, Paul, Chris and the series’ crew and staff.

  • Let's hope she wins that. Maybe Parks will be like 30 Rock and not be nominated the 1st year but the 2nd year dominate the Emmys.
